Currently AUSSL has over $5 million dollars in
research equipment.
AUSSL collaborates with the Alabama
Microelectronics Science and Technology Center (AMSTC), the
Electrical Engineering Department, the Chemistry Department,
Materials Engineering Department, and the Center for Space
Power and Advanced Electronics at
Auburn.
In addition, the laboratory is a central point of
activity for our recent National Science Foundation (NSF)
funded Center for Advanced Vehicle Electronics (CAVE), an
Industry-University Cooperative Research Center
(IU/CRC). CAVE is
dedicated to becoming the premiere research center in
hostile-environment electronics common to the vehicle
